Craig Matthews - Interim Artistic Director
Craig Alexander Matthews received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Music Education from Central Michigan University (Mount Pleasant, MI) and began teaching choral and instrumental music for the Saginaw (Michigan) Public School system.
He attended Virginia Union University’s Samuel DeWitt Proctor School of Theology where he earned a Master of Divinity degree.
During his studies at Virginia Union he worked as a campaign fundraiser for the United Way in Richmond where he was responsible for raising funds from all city/county school and governmental employees.
Notable accomplishments include the composing and performing of an original piano concerto, entitled, “Conversations” written for and premiered by the Richmond Symphony, as part of the “In Harmony” choral series.
Currently, he is employed by the Second Baptist Church of South Richmond and serves as its minister of music.

Annette Henry - Administrative Manager
Annette Henry holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Rehabilitation Counseling and a minor in Accounting from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, VA.
She was previously employed in the Department of Health Administration at MCV/VCU for 27 years as program coordinator, student administrator, and financial aid advisor. Mrs. Henry has received many awards and recognitions for her hard work including the Riese Melton Award for promoting cultural diversity with students of the VCU community.
