Billy
Dye, Artistic Director

Artistic
Director of the Richmond Boys Choir, received a Bachelors of Music
Education (BME) from Shenandoah Conservatory of Music (now known
as Shenandoah University) and a Masters of Music (MM) from Virginia
Commonwealth University. He served, as Vocal Supervisor at Williamsburg
VA's Busch Gardens for numerous years. While there he coached,
wrote and directed a variety of shows and vocal styles. Mr. Dye
continues to exhibit his talents as music director as well as
vocal director for many theatrical productions throughout the
state. Billy was the music coordinator for the National Red Cross
Convention, which included conducting a 1,000-voice chorus and
orchestra, the music advisor for Governor Gilmore's Inaugural Prayer
Breakfast and a guest conductor for the Richmond City All-Elementary
School Choir. Not limited to Virginia, Billy's artistic influence
can be heard as far as Branson, Missouri. Mr. Dye is a member
of Phi Mu Alpha professional music fraternity, and Alpha Psi Omega,
honorary theatre fraternity. Mr. Dye's varied background and experiences
in the arts are said to make an unquestionable contribution to
the growth and development of young, well-rounded performers and
musicians. Billy's recent accolades include a Citizenship Award
from the Astoria Beneficial Club, Inc for "Devotion to the
African American Youth in the field of Music, Serving as a Positive
Role Model, Bringing Credit to Richmond, VA the State of Virginia,
and the United States of America" and an acknowledgement
by the National Association of University Women for community
contributions. Billy is also a proud member of Phi Beta Sigma
Fraternity Inc. and taught at the Maggie L. Walker Governors School and Appomattox Regional Governors
School.

Annette
Henry, Administrative Manager
Mrs.
Henry holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Rehabilatation Counseling
and a minor in Accounting from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, VA. She was previously
employed in the Department of Health Administration at MCV/VCU
for 27 years as program coordinator, student administrator, and
financial aid advisor. Mrs. Henry has received many awards and recognitions for her hard work including the Riese Melton Award
for promoting cultural diversity with students of the VCU community.
